Yesterday was like any other blue Monday in January, that was until about 1pm and I got a tweet from Paramount Pictures telling me I’d won two tickets to the premiere of Jack Ryan:Shadow Recruit! I couldn’t quite believe it as I had RT’d the tweet not thinking at all I would even win, I have always wanted to go to a premiere so was very excited to have been chosen and yesterday evening proved a fantastic evening.
I had hardly any time to prepare but what went through my head first was what am I going to wear!? Before I decided I started on my make-up and hair. Here is my make-up look from last night, I used browns on the eyes and also half false eyelashes, a bright pink lip and kept the rest simple.
Products I used to create this look
Urban Decay Naked Palette, Dior Forever Foundation 02, Bare Minerals Neutralizing Primer, Dior Skin Nudeskin Bronzer 002, Illamasqua Gleam Highlighter, Rimmel Glam Eyes Liquid Eyeliner, Chanel Mascara, Illamasqua Eyebrow Cake, Kardashian Beauty LipStick Crayon, Bare Minerals Lip Pencil in Liberated, Tom Ford Blush Frantic Pink, Millie Mackintosh Party Lashes
I decided to go for a smart casual outfit and what did I wear? Dior? Prada? Gucci? Nope I wore my George at ASDA dress and it was the perfect choice. The dress is a great length, it has a lace effect fabric and has an embellished collar so no need for planning jewellery. I teamed it with my Little By Little silver clutch bag and Upper Street turquoise shoes. It was freezing last night so I wore my Biba fur coat over the top.
The premiere was being held at The Vue cinema in Leicester Square, I took Danny with me and we both got to walk up the red carpet which was a terrific experience. You kind of just block out all the press and can’t quite believe your on it. I saw a couple taking selfies so I thought what the hell and milked my moment too, so here I am!
When we got inside we were shown to our seats, we all had bottles of water and chocolate, no popcorn though! Just opposite us were Lucy Watson and Cheska from Made In Chelsea and I didn’t recognise him but Danny managed to spot Kai from X-Factor behind them. Then it was time for the big celebs and the stars of the film, Keira Knightley, Chris Pine and Kenneth Branagh came out to introduce the film, both looking amazing.
The film itself was great, very fast-moving and action packed, a true spy thriller and Chris is of course easy on eye ladies 😉
I had a fantastic evening and I hope to go to many more!
