I get asked all the time what my favourite burger place in London is, so being an avid lover of a good burger I thought it was only fair to put together a list of my top five burger places in London.
Burger & Lobster
Burger & Lobster have had a few changes since they first opened and one thing you will notice now is a menu. Back in the day it was simply burger or lobster, now they have a few options to choose from, with the half and half proving most popular.
If you have a friend who loves lobster and you love burgers, this is a great way to compromise. The burger is full of flavour and chips and salad come on the side, winning.
Dirty Burger may be like the back-end of your garden in an old rusty shed, but it’s got its charm and the burgers are phenomenal. I just can’t explain them, they really are something you have to try. Part of the Soho House group, the menu is simple and the onion fries are to die for.
Get ready to get dirty at Meatmission. Their burgers are huge, filling and you will get very messy by the end of it, hence why they supply you with a roll of kitchen roll. I’m getting excited thinking about it. My favourite here is the ‘Dirty Chicken Burger’ but go all out and try the ‘Dead Hippie’. They also have a fab selection of cocktails.
Tommi’s Burger Joint
You’ll find Tommi’s Burger Joint in Marylebone and inside the walls are lined with posters and cardboard signs. The menu is easy, the classic burger, the chicken burger, the veggie burger and the Double Tommi burger, plus even a kids burger. Served up with fries or sweet potato fries and a drink of your choice, they do sodas, milkshakes and also serve alcohol. My go to after a day of shopping.
Honest Burger have locations spread out across the City and the burgers are one of my favourites. They have choices of chicken, beef and also veggie. My favourite is the Tribute and it comes served with rosemary salted chips. They do a bunch of cocktails and even serve breakfast and brunch.
