Battersea Power Station Art Event

This weekend from Friday 25th September until Sunday 27th September, head down to Battersea Power Stations FREE art event at the Battersea Arts Centre. The exhibition will feature artists from all over the world, both professional and amateur, with over 400 pieces of art on display. The exhibition will also have family activities including a 3D LEGO Power station build, live printmaking and Sunday arts brunch and film screenings. 24 Hour Bar Build At London Cocktail Week

This London Cocktail Week, Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands and Patrón Tequila are bringing 24 of the world’s best bartenders to London to host a 24-hour international bar clash and crown one city the world’s best. Bartenders from New York, Paris, Singapore and London will be united under one roof for the first time to compete in the 24hr Bar Build. The four city teams will create a cutting-edge new cocktail bar concept inspired by one of four world-renowned spirits; Patrón Tequila, Grey Goose vodka, Bacardi rum and Bombay Sapphire gin. The Lodge, Clapham

The Lodge pop-up from Jimmy Garcia returns this October to a new location in Clapham. The pop-up has an après-ski theme and is the perfect way to get you in the mood for the winter weather that’s fastly approaching. The menu is set for any foodie lover with everything from grilled duck hearts with pickled blueberries to a tasting board of rabbit. As well as lunch and dinner there will also be a brunch club every Sunday, priced at £20 with Bloody Mary’s, wild hot breakfasts’, pastries, granola and unlimited filter coffee.Last year saw a waiting list of two months, so get in early and book your spot now. The Lodge opens this October 8th until March 2016.

Guys & Dolls

When it comes to booking shows for Christmas, you have to get in there early. Guys & Dolls have just announced their run for Christmas time. For a 13 week run Guys & Dolls will take place at the Savoy Theatre from the 10th December 2015 until 12 March 2016, with Sophie Thompson and David Haig performing together for the first time since their comic pairing as bride and groom, Lydia and Bernard, in the British smash hit film, Four Weddings and a Funeral. Oktoberfest Food Night Markets

Urban Food Fest’s ‘Oktoberfest’ street food night markets take place on Saturday 26th September and Saturday 3rd October at the Euro Car Parks in Shoreditch High Street.  There will be 15 food trucks and stalls serving traditional German street food including the ‘Deutschland’ a giant hotdog topped with sauerkraut and the ‘Lederhosen’ a triple stacked beef & pickle burger. As well as a themed Oktoberfest bar with ice-cold Munich beers, niche craft beers and German wine and prosecco. Plus don’t miss the German inspired cocktails they sound a treat.
