Valentine’s Date Make-Up & Hair Look

Whether you are single or courting (don’t you love that word, my dad used to always say it) this Valentine’s, you may either be heading out on a date or a girl’s night out. So I have put together a look that could work for both. I was sent this beautiful ‘Soft Rose’ gift box from MeMeMe cosmetics, the colours in it are absolutely perfect for Valentine’s, all being soft pinks, so I decided to work a look around this. Inside you get a highlighter, shimmer stack – which was my absolute favourite from this, light me up illuminate gloss, opulent eyes quad palette and a nail polish in a gorgeous nude colour. They all work perfectly together, the shimmer stack is great for contouring for blush and highlight and the quad palette shadows are so easily mixed together. I wasn’t sure what they would come out like but in the end I am really happy with the results.

I’ve also used a few other bits and bobs alongside to recreate this. Look out for a brand new product from Stila cosmetics. This is an all day brow gel that I got to try out last week, it launches early Feb and it really does stay on all day, plus comes with a brush to apply it. For the hair I’m using the Lee Stafford Jumbo Argan Oil tong to create some soft tousled waves.
