Sugercoated Exhibition
Sugercoated is a one week art gallery exhibition in Hoxton by The Ilaka Project. Ten artists interpret the concept of candy with plenty of visual sweet treats. There will be interactive art installations as well as miniature works and 3D sculptures. Expect pink sandpits, giant lollipops, parachutes for love notes and floating teapots. The pop-up runs from Sept 7th- Sept 13th at Hoxton’s Basement, 12-8pm.

RHS Flowers & Flea Weekend
Returning to Flat Iron Square flea market this Autumn is the Royal Horticultural Society. During the weekend of 16th-17th September will be a number of RHS inspired stalls, talks and activities alongside the regular flea market traders. Expert growers will also be on-hand to help visitors with all planting worries, from indoor plants to urban gardens plus there will be the opportunity to choose from an assortment of unusual houseplants and striking shrubs. Talks include Kim Walker and Vicky Chown from Handmade Apothecary talking on herbal remedies, Judith Baehner from Het Groenlab talking on houseplants and gardening expert Joseph Ford.
J Brand Sample Sale
Cult denim American brand J Brand are taking over event space East London The Box on the 7th – 10th September with their first ever UK womenswear and menswear sample sale. Prices will start at £35 and you can expect up to 80% off their clothing and denim. London Mezcal Week
If you haven’t tried Mezcal then here is your chance, at London’s first ever London Mezcal Week. From Monday 11th – Sunday 17th September across London will be a series of amazing events celebrating Mezcal, Mexican culture, art and food, ending with an incredible two-day Mexico Independence tasting festival. The headline tasting event on Saturday & Sunday will take place in Hackney and feature the UK’s biggest ever Mezcal tasting, where ticket holders can taste over 30 samples and talk to many of the faces behind the brands.

Carnaby Fashion Festival
Carnaby are hosting a fashion festival from 21st-24th September. Four free days of fashion and beauty events, talks, workshops and plenty of offers and discounts. Highlights include a behind-the-scenes event with Lazy Oaf, beauty masterclasses at Benefit, M.A.C and Pixi with their senior make-up team, and after-parties at The Kooples, The Ragged Priest and G-SHOCK. Visitors to the LFW Festival on The Strand can also hop aboard the free Carnaby taxi, offering shuttles back to Carnaby, and then snap their festival look in the free GIF booth.
Oktoberfest Comes To London
The German beer festival Oktoberfest is coming to London this October. The Greenwich Peninsula will be transformed into a beer hall with 220 beer tables, a fun fair, live entertainment on stage and alpine log cabins. The Erdinger festival will be open most days from 5th-22nd October and most importantly they are shipping over 250,000 pints of premium “Erdinger Weissbier” (wheat beer) and smooth lager “Fischers Hell”, direct from their brewery in Bavaria. FROG Restaurant Opens
Chef and restaurateur Adam Handling will be opening the doors to his third restaurant site in the group, Frog by Adam Handling in Covent Garden on Southampton Street. The restaurant will act as the flagship restaurant for the group, offering a more formal approach than that at The Frog E1. Frog by Adam Handling will showcase Adam’s distinctive cooking style – combining technical savvy with the best possible produce – with a sizeable open-plan kitchen, and a large private dining room in the basement complete with its own kitchen. North End Road Autumn Market
Celebrating its 130th birthday this year, North End Road in Fulham is hosting a special edition of its popular daily market with 150 stalls, live music and entertainment on September 23rd September 9am-5pm. Start at one end and work your way down the street (that becomes a traffic free zone for the day) stopping off at stalls and shops packed with seasonal produce, fresh fruit and veg, arts and crafts, clothing and fashion accessories and gifts. With cuisine from around the globe including Caribbean, Ethiopian, Filipino, Italian, Korean, Middle Eastern and Thai, there’s treats for every taste.
UK Spanish Olive Festival
If you love olives you have got to get yourself down to the Spanish Olive Festival. being held on Friday 29th Sept – Sunday 1st Oct. The free festival will have cooking demos from José Pizarro, Ben Tish, Omar Allibhoy & Fiona Hunter. Olive tasting and stuffing stations and an olive art installation. The Olive Tasting Station is where you’ll be able to try a range of Spanish olives, from the Manzanillas, to Gordals, and Hojiblancas. Experts on hand will be able to answer questions and recommend dishes and pairings, so you can try using them at home. The festival runs Friday (12-8pm), Saturday (11-6pm), Sunday (11-6pm) at Canopy Market, West Handyside Canopy, Kings Cross, London, N1C 4BH.
Biggest Vegan Festival Of The Year
If you are a vegan then head to the biggest vegan festival of the year at Olympia.October 21st-22nd sees Vegfest, where vegans alike can meet up and enjoy a whole new world of food including vegan versions of sushi, pies, pizza, hot dogs and much more. At Vegfest will be some of the best vegan comedians as entertainment, you can find out the secret of vegan cooking from top chefs and find out how to become a dairy free cheese lover.
