If you could only buy one calendar, which would you buy? I’m looking for a wide variety of high-end products, not necessarily full-size. I’m happy with a bunch of sample sizes. I got Liberty’s last year but am wondering if I should mix it up and try a different one this year as it seems they are replicating some products from last year.
PaulaSeptember 14, 2017 at 14:21
Oh hard question! For high-end for me I would choose the Harrods calendar, just because it looks amazing and I really like the brands that are included, although the John Lewis one is a lot more affordable and looks fantastic too! So definitely one of those two!
bluebell2121September 14, 2017 at 14:44
Is it me or are these becoming more expensive every year?
PaulaSeptember 14, 2017 at 15:31
Some of them definitely have!
Ingrida DaniSeptember 16, 2017 at 14:27

Hi! The TILI one isn’t available to pre-order until October 23rd as I mentioned, but as for Sephora I don’t have a date for that, I’m guessing it will be late October/early Nov as when they launched last year. But yes a lot of the dates have been changing, either bringing forward or pushing back, but have updated as much as I can.
Thanks for sharing!

Do u know if Selfridges will have their second advent calendar as the previous years? Thanks
PaulaOctober 16, 2017 at 11:19
I’m not sure actually, I haven’t heard anything about it as yet!

Which of these would you recommend for a 17 year old girl?
PaulaOctober 16, 2017 at 20:04
I’d say the Look Fantastic one is pretty stand out to impress a 17 year old, as it turns into a beauty storage unit, but NYX and Sleek would be good options too!

Thanks a lot for your input! (And I did choose the Beauty in Wonderland.)

My daughter had the Rituals one last year and we were both surprised by what was included. It was well worth the money and no problems with her skin after using. This year she’s treated me to the original one and herself the deluxe version.

Hi, I have been loving your advent calendar videos. Will you be doing an unboxing of the Amazon advent calendar? 🙂
PaulaOctober 19, 2017 at 15:11
Hi! Thankyou so glad you have! I don’t I think I will be sorry!
MunchKimOctober 22, 2017 at 14:12
Thanks for all the unboxings and this list, it’s really made it easy to pick which to have this year by seeing what is in them rather than just a list of products. One I thought I wanted I decided wasn’t for me after watching your video and one I thought I didn’t want I’ve got ordered now!
For this year I’ve picked Look Fantastic, ASOS, You Beauty and I’m hoping to get Tili tomorrow too after your video today. So thank you for making this Advent a lot of fun, I cant wait for it to start!

So excited for you for your Christmas countdown! Hope you get the TILI one tomorrow x

Hi I’m sorry your getting hate on YouTube I’m loving the unboxings and I always love your advent calendar posts every year.
Which is your favourite calendar from each price range?
I got the look fantastic one last year but the packaging was a little difficult to get into. I wasn’t going to get it this year I had convinced myself I was going to splurge on a liberty calendar until I saw the packaging on the look fantastic calendar which is now sitting in my living room waiting for December. I’m trying to decide which one to get my mum. I got her the M&S one last year but I’m not sold on it this year the packaging is a bit annoying and all the reviews I’ve seen said it got damaged in the post. I don’t think my mum would wear the makeup in there. I feel like the skincare is aimed at an older audience but the makeup seems quite young in comparison. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I’ve been debating splurging on the liberty calendar for her but she might not be happy that I spent that much on a calendar but she’s worth it

Hi! Thanks so much for your message. That is so lovely your thinking of buying your mum the Liberty calendar, I say go for it! It’s such a beautiful calendar and I am sure she will be thrilled to bits with it!
I know what you mean about the LF one last year and this year I wasn’t expecting that at all, hands down the best packaging. M&S slightly disappointed me this year, I much preferred it last year, for the design and the product selection, still a good calendar, just I wasn’t loving it as much.
Ok hard choice but here are my picks, I tend to like the ones with a variety of products.
Under £50 – QVC
Over £50 Look Fantastic for the design but I really did love You Beauty, although if I was being bought one I’d ask for Estee Lauder Multi Brand Calendar 🙂
Over £150 Harrods or Liberty (too hard to choose!)
