Mix Up Your Look With Pixi MultiBalms

August 24, 2016

For my travels this week in New York I wanted to cut down my make-up bag a little and only take what I really needed. Being summer in New York at the moment and extremely hot, I wasn’t planning on wearing too much during the day and that’s when Pixi’s multi-balms were ideal for my trip away. They are a 2 in 1 product that lets you use the balm on your lips and cheeks and I’m sure eyes could work as well. Easy to pop in your bag for a touch up and I love the cream texture as I find cream products tend to stay on much more for me in the heat.

You can wear each shade alone or blend them together to create your perfect colour. Each stick has a cremé-powder formula and infused with shea butter, aloe vera and rosehip oil so they are really nourishing on the lips and face.

Let’s take a look at the colours, they are 5 multibalm sticks in the range; Wild Rose which is a dusky rose-pink, Soft Strawberry a brightly coloured red, Watermelon Veil, a vibrant pink, Baby Petal a very gorgeous nude colour and Sheer Sculpt which is amazing to use for contouring.

L to R Sheer Sculpt, Wild Rose, Soft Strawberry, Baby Petal, Watermelon Veil

My favourites on the cheeks are definitely Wild Rose and Baby Petal as these blend best with the rest of my everyday make-up. On the lips I love the Baby Pink, they give a matte finish on the lips and feels very moisturising and just add a hint of colour, think like you don’t even have make-up on but you totally do. Although if you go for the red it’s of course more obvious.

I really like the size of these and even though they are chubby sticks, they are really easy to apply on the lips and I didn’t end up with it all over my face, like some thicker lipsticks can sometimes do.

Pixi Multibalms are £12 each and available at pixibeauty.co.uk.
