Babooshka Boo are a UK luxury scarf designer brand and their most recent collection for Spring/Summer sees a range of scarves designed by Vesna Milinkovic who is a designer and artist, with her work being shown at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. The range of scarves entitled Surface take inspiration from graffiti work by painter/photographer Christopher Wool.
The collection of scarves incorporate swirling spray paint, symmetrical kaleidoscopes, water ripples in smoky strokes, moth wing camouflage and stencil slogans, including the slogans ‘Born To Fly’ and ‘This Is Graffiti Not Entertainment’ which adorns my favourite from the collection and this week’s object of my affection.
The scarf is named after the collection and has swirls of lime green and pink with the slogan in a genuine Christopher Wool style stencil. The scarf is made form a superfine wool and a fringed edge.
I think it would look great with a tee and jeans! This scarf and others in the collection are available from Baboohska Boo at £145.
