LCC – DIY Flat Pack Cocktails

You know when you go to IKEA and you bring home some flat pack furniture to build and you wish it was a little more fun? Well London Cocktail Club have been inspired by the ‘Do It Yourself’ aspect and made it a hell of a lot more fun by the fact you get to make your own cocktails!

They have just recently launched the DIY Flat Pack Cocktails and on Wednesday evening I went down to the bar in Goodge Street to give it a whirl. The Flat Pack cocktails have everything you’ll need to make your very own and you have the choice of three awesome cocktails; Summer Fruit Daiquiris, Martinis and Porn Star Martini.

We were seated in the new AREA 69 table which has just recently been added in conjunction with Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt Whiskey and it’s a fantastic area for up to about 8 people and so brilliantly designed. Cornered off by a red telephone box, walls of graffiti style drawings, an awesome monkey lamp and a phone to ring for cocktails, it’s a perfect cosy area.

I love a Porn Star Martini so we decided to have a go at making those. Our kit came complete with cocktail shaker, martini glasses and our miniatures vodka, passionfruit liqueur & puree, apple juice and vanilla.Plus our garnishing and of course our lovely accompanying shots of Prosecco were brought to the table.

I poured it all in and gave it a good shake…

Minutes later the cocktails were served, I think we did a pretty good job?

Afterwards we opted for some more cocktails, not handmade by me this time but look at the cute Pot Noodle cup!

The DIY Flat packs are available to make now at London Cocktail Club for £20, a great way to add fun to your evening with friends or a date!
