Flower Power

A Saturday stroll on the 1st of March in London means you can come across some beautiful blossom trees for Spring. As soon as I saw this one I knew it was perfect to play under for some outfit photos and it was also a lovely sunny day too. Now we just need to crank the temperature up and we are nearly set!

This floral playsuit from Fashion Union caught my eye the minute I saw it, I am pretty obsessed with floral prints right now, given my last outfit post featured some floral trousers. But I just love the cut of this playsuit, it is long-sleeved which is great for now when it’s a bit colder but it’s so lightweight too so can work into summer as well, the sleeves are puffed with buttoned cuffs which gives a really nice floaty arm shape. I like the neckline and also the slit at the front, it adds some great detail.

To match the playsuit I teamed it with some black tights, some Topshop sparkly chelsea boots which I had picked up at the Voucher Codes Swap Shop last week, thanks to Julia at Stylon Nylon. They were actually a size too small for me but luckily they fitted, I think it was meant to be! My floppy hat is from H&M, I had been searching for a hat just like this for ages and couldn’t find one quite right, so I adore this one and I really need to wear it more often.
