Fabulous Fortnight – Debenhams Oxford Street

If you have been in Debenhams in Oxford Street lately you would have noticed the scaffolding, the builders and a bit of higgledy-piggledy going on. It was all for the their brand new store which is now finally open to the public!

To celebrate the opening of the newly refurbished store they are hosting a series of fashion and beauty events entitled ‘Fabulous Fortnight’, so I headed down on Friday to check it out. Friday was ‘Beauty Indulgence Day’, which sounded perfect as I needed to stock up on a few make-up bits and what a better way than with 15% off all beauty products. As soon as I walked in the new store I loved the sign and the beauty counter area looked brilliant, it was laid out very well and was really clear to see all the different brands.

My curiosity to see the new store got the better of me, so I went for a bit of a wander round all the levels. It’s clear to see they have spent a lot of time making the store better, what I loved was everything was very well laid out and seemed very clean and clear. I had a good look round the womenswear and then got myself lost among the homeware, how cute are these signs?  I also went a bit wild for this retro phone.

The store also has a cafe on level 2 and a new bar/restaurant on the basement floor which looked lovely, great for an after shopping vino. After my wander it was back to the beauty for some serious shopping. I stocked up on my YSL Face Cleanser, this stuff is amazing and it’s quite expensive so the discount made it all the more easier to buy. I also picked up a few gifts so I can’t tell what they were as they will be reading this, but the below might be a bit of a hint 😉
