When it comes to picking a shoe, for me it’s all about comfort and style. I am the woman who will be attracted like a magpie to the shiny, glitter covered and feather creation but also bend a shoe at the back to make sure it’s comfortable. Can you ever have both? I believe you can.
Today sees the launch of Deichmann shoes latest collaboration with fashion blogger, stylist and photographer Hanneli Mustaparta. Hanneli worked as a model for numerous years until discovering her passion for styling and later fashion photography, working for the likes of Vogue. I highly admire her sense of style so I can see why Deichmann have chosen to collaborate with her.
Hanneli has a ten piece collection that definitely appeals to everyone’s shoe personality. Of course I was instantly drawn to the sparkly gold pointed court shoes. These are the ideal shoe for the upcoming party season and at a purse friendly £14.99 are the perfect shoe to jazz up a plain outfit. Hanneli’s pointed blue suede ankle boot, no Elvis songs here, would be great with black skinny jeans or skirts. The gold zip adds a lovely detail and I think these are a great boot choice for those high heel lovers. Where as the brogues and loafers in the collection are so on trend for this season and a great choice for casual everyday wear.
As I mentioned I love a shoe that screams comfort but adds a little something extra too. The chelsea boot was definitely the choice for me. These patent boots are my go to boot for autumn, with a rounded toe and chunky sole they are great for long walks and everyday wear. I love how the blue stitching just adds a little something different.
Being patent they are perfect for all sorts of unexpected weather and they are definitely one of the most comfortable pairs of boots I own. I am always nervous at first wearing a new pair of shoes and these were a perfect fit on the first wear, not a plaster in sight. I think your shoe choice definitely reflects your personality and so I’d say these boots are practical, yet fun and of course a must-have style for this season’s wardrobe.
After long walks, of course I indulge in a cup of hot chocolate or two and watch the world go by.
