Bare Minerals Launch

On Thursday evening I was invited along to celebrate the new store opening of Bare Minerals in Canary Wharf. I have a couple of Bare Minerals products, a primer and a lip crayon and totally love them, so was excited to go along and have a look at all the make-up . I hadn’t actually been to one of the stores before I’ve always bought online or in Boots, so it was lovely to venture into a whole store dedicated to the products.

The shop itself is situated inside the Jubilee Place shopping mall which I had never been to before and was amazed actually at the store selection, if you are in the area definitely check it out. Inside the store I loved the chandelier fittings, it was lovely and bright and the products were all on display to really get hands on and try them. Down the middle of the shop is a beauty bar where you can get your own make-under. What’s great is that you don’t need to book in and pay say £20 which is redeemable against products like a lot of beauty counters, you can simply just book a makeover and not obliged to buy anything, although you probably will as the products are fantastic!

During the evening we were treated to some bubbles and lovely canapés from Gaucho restaurant, which kept up my appetite as I tried out all the products.

 

My favourites were the Original Primer, I have the Neutralising one and I loved the feel of the Original, it is clear in colour and felt super soft, like silk. I also fell in love with the Rose Gold eye shadow, so beautiful. The foundations are what grabbed my attention, they are all powders and I had a great time trying them out as I am so used to wearing a liquid one. The Christmas gift sets were also lovely be sure to check them out on the website.

I left with a goodie bag which had a Marvelous Moxie lipgloss in Maverick and a Lip Sheer in Berry Remix in it. The lipgloss looks so dark but when applied its a really lovely shade. Again with the lip sheer, it has a slight tint and the gel has shea butter and jojoba seed oil to leave your lips feeling really moisturised, it’s stunning.

Now I pretty much need everything from the shop, anyone seen Santa lately?
