The Spritz Garden Rooftop

Bird of Smithfield open their Spritz Garden Rooftop on the 8th of May till late September. The Spritz Garden Rooftop will serve up a selection of summer inspired cocktails such as Honeysuckle Fizz with honeyed & turmeric Belvedere vodka with fresh muddled plums, lemon and sparkling wine and Indian Summer with Jensen gin, ginger ale, apple, kafir lime, cucumber, cardamom and fizz. Enjoy a spritz cocktail in this relaxed garden setting with natural jasmine trees adorning the walls. There will also be a rooftop lunch menu featuring seasonal classic salads and light summer dishes, all perfectly matched with the Spritz menu.

Brixton Beach

Brixton Beach one of summer’s hotspot rooftop hangs returns on the 26th of May. The beach is inspired by the vibrant culture of Cuba, so expect a colourful paradise serving up cocktails, street food and plenty of entertainment all summer long. Entertainment will include individual events and experiences, day and night parties, renowned DJ sets, summer film screenings, beach barbeques and daily exercise classes that include Zumba, HIIT and yoga sessions. Food comes from some of the UK’s top food vendors; Del 74 will be serving up traditional Mexican tacos, Nanban Brixton’s most-loved Japanese food and there will be guest spots on Thursday night BBQs from some awesome restaurants. Summer On The Square

This May sees the opening of Summer On The Square, a pop-up restaurant in the middle of Finsbury Square, Moorgate. Nest celebrates British food with simple and seasonal dishes and will be offering an exciting menu of British tapas in the square. May’s evening menu will have a selection of dishes such as Pig Head & Black Pudding CroquettesOld Spot Jowl & Burnt Orange and Smoked Mackerel Tarte with Seaweed all at £6 each. It’s BYOB so bring your own wine and beer and they will provide the ice bucket. Summer On The Square runs every Tuesday-Friday in May & June, between 5.30pm-10pm. London Clown Fest

The London Clown Festival returns this May to London. Building on the foundations of the first festival in 2016, the 2017 festival moves into the Art Deco splendour of Hornsey Town from 11th-21st May and features yet more highly acclaimed artists, alongside up and coming new talent from across the world. Highlights of the festival include Red Bastard, Natalie Palamides: Laid (co-devised and directed by Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner Dr Brown) and Zach & Viggo: Dream Team (Winners – Best Comedy, Adelaide Fringe Weekly Award and Best Comedy Brighton Fringe). Duck & Waffle Local Opens

Duck & Waffle have spread their wings to Piccadilly and this month sees the opening of Duck & Waffle Local. Opening on 3rd May at St James’ Market under the direction of Duck & Waffle’s award-winning chef director Dan Doherty, Duck & Waffle Local is the first fast casual restaurant centered around duck. On the menu will be duck delights such as The Duck Burger with crispy duck leg aswell as a Duck Jam Doughnut which reimagines sweet-meets-savoury cravings. Duck & Waffle favourites will also be on the menu, including the Full Elvis, a peanut butter & jelly ‘buttered’ waffle with vanilla cream, peanut brittle, fresh berries and caramelised banana.     Loving the sound of the Spritz Garden Rooftop! Cocktails, great views, just need some sunny weather and it will be the perfect afternoon/evening out!
