The trend for liquid lipsticks has been around for quite a while, with Kylie Jenner absolutely loving them and even bringing out her own range, which I finally got my hands on last week. So whilst I wait for that delivery I thought I’d introduce you to another major player in the liquid lipstick game. Too Faced have some amazing liquid lipsticks and the most recent additions are the Melted Chocolate collection.
There are five colours in the melted chocolate range and I have three to share with you today. These are Metallic Chocolate Diamonds, Metallic Frozen Hot Chocolate and Chocolate Honey. As with most products from Too Faced the minute you open them they smell of chocolate, which comes from the scent but also the cocoa powder ingredient within. Each lipstick has an angled velvet tip for application and a squeezy tube to push the liquid up. It’s really easy to apply and I must admit has great staying power.
My favourite colour was the more matte Chocolate Honey, which is a nude brown, that I reckon would suit most skin types. I’m pretty pale and it didn’t look weird on or anything, just a lovely matte nude colour. The Metallic Chocolate Diamonds is a light brown shade, with a silver glitter through it, giving it more of a sparkle, whereas Metallic Frozen Hot Chocolate is a darker shade with more of a gloss and sheen to it and quite a wet look, but with again glitter particles. So it depends what look you prefer, for me it’s matte and I have been using this shade loads recently.

Liquid lipstick can be very drying but I didn’t find that with these at all, they feel hydrating and comfortable to wear. You can also mix them together to create your perfect shade.
Too Faced Melted Chocolate Liquid Lipsticks are £16 each and available from Debenhams & Too Faced.
Will you be swapping chocolate for chocolate lips this Valentine’s?
