Spread The Love

I absolutely love unique jewellery, but also I love the fact of knowing that it’s good quality. So when I was recently introduced to Bug jewellery I completely fell in love with it straight away. Bug jewellery is handmade by its creator Ellie and each piece is made straight from 925 solid silver. Bug has some amazing collections such as La La Land which sees pieces such as the afternoon tea bracelet with cups and saucers, the make a wish wishbone and many a cute kitchen appliance! Music lovers can go wild for the music themed La Discotheuqe, whilst Chained as you can imagine has some gorgeous chained pieces, my favourite being the francesca slave ring!

When a gift from Ellie arrived, I was delighted! I love a quirky take on a piece of jewellery and this toast necklace is just that!

The necklace arrived in a cute little box with the Bug wax seal and a little note from Ellie inside. The necklace itself is from the La La Land collection and is made from solid silver and in the shape of a piece of toast, complete with its own little knife! On the toast it reads ‘Spread The Love’ and on the reverse it simply reads ‘Toast’.

I have been wearing this necklace loads, as it pretty much goes with everything! I have such a big collection of jewellery most of which is just costume bought from the high-street, but I love pieces like this as they last much longer and are so much more worth the investment. Most of my old jewellery starts to go that weird colour as it’s not real gold or silver and I get so disappointed, so at least with this I don’t need to worry about that happening!
