Sleek Makeup have had some fab new releases lately, did you see my Ibiza inspired look from the recently launched i-Divine Del Mar Volume II palette? If not then give it a watch by clicking through. Now the reason I mention that specific palette is that it inspires one of the new eye and cheek palettes which is being launched by Sleek Makeup this April.
The two palettes are a mixture of four eyeshadows and two blushes perfectly matched. The first is called ‘All Day Soiree’ and has a selection of peach and beige hues and you may recognise the orange colour from the Del Mar Vol II. The blushes are a light pink and a very light peachy colour which is great as more of a highlighter. The lighter golder/white eyeshadow in this one is perfect for a base on the eyelid, it looks very pretty.
The second palette ‘A Midsummer’s Dream’ has an eyeshadow in the 2015 Pantone colour of the year – Marsala, which is a shimmering bronze colour. Alongside this, there are muted grey and white tones of eyeshadow and the blush are two coral/bronze shades. These are quite dark so are maybe more if you have a bit of a tan or are darker skinned, I wouldn’t say these are as good for very pale skin. I really liked the eye colours in this one though and the blush was great when I was particularly tanned on the face.
Both palettes are really handy to carry around for touch-ups or to take on holiday if you don’t want to carry a lot or take away all your expensive bits. They each have an eye shadow applicator and mini blusher brush and that all important mirror which fits perfect in a handbag.
The Sleek Makeup Eye and Cheek palettes launch on April 22nd and are priced at ยฃ9.99 each from Superdrug and Boots.
