My Ruby Red Melissa’s

I did something I’ve never done before just the other week. Set the scene I was on the Underground and I spotted a girl wearing some rather nice red shoes, with perfect little gold bows. So what do I do? I snapped a picture of them and yes the flash did go off, embarrassing factor 11/10. I loved the shoes so much I tweeted them out to my followers asking what they were and my fashion blogger counter parts came to my rescue by filling me in on the secret that they were in fact Melissa ULTRAGIRL heels.  For some reason I always thought Melissa only did the jelly shoes but did not know they did these gorgeous suede versions for the new collection.

The next day I got straight onto the net and googled, the first shop to come up was Daniel Footwear. I hadn’t heard of them before so was really surprised on their website, when I saw not only did they stock a great selection of own brand shoes but some great brands too including Melissa, Chanel, DKNY and Micheal Kors to name a few.

My Dorothy shoes, which I’m now calling them arrived really quickly and fitted great. I had owned a pair of Melissa’s before, the Vivienne Westwood ones  with the heart, remember them? So was hoping the sizing would be similar and the size 6 fitted perfectly. I love the cute gold bows  and peep toe hole, not to mention the chunky heel which gives you a little bit of height without the discomfort of wearing heels.
