Met Gala Ball 2014

The Met Gala Ball is held every year at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art to raise funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. Anna Wintour chairs the event and chooses the theme, with this years theme being Charles James couture, famous for his amazing couture creations. For me there wasn’t anything too wow this year, I think a lot of the celebs really got into the punk theme of last year and forgot to get out of it! Nevertheless there were some amazing gowns and here a few of my favourites. Kendall Jenner in couture Topshop looked flawless, Suki Waterhouse in Burberry, 17-year-old Hailee Steinfield in Prabal Gurang and Instagram banned Rihanna showed off her midriff in Stella McCartney

I think the ones that really did well though were the couples, Victoria Beckham and David looked fab in this white ensemble,with Victoria wearing her own label and David in Ralph Lauren. Kim Kardashian went for an understated and simple Lanvin dress after last years Givenchy sofa affair, with Kanye in tux tails. Beyonce dazzled in a Givenchy gown with some mesh headgear and husband Jay Z wore a white jacket with black trousers. Serena, sorry Blake Lively looked super gorgeous in this Gucci pink gown and Ryan Reynolds also wore a tux by Gucci. To round-up the couples Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger looked so lovely together, Diane wore a silver gown by Jason Wu for Hugo Boss.
