MeMeMe Cosmetics

MeMeMe is a cosmetics brand I have never actually tried before. So I was excited to try them out when I was recently sent some of the most popular products from the range, including the light up high shine lipgloss and the coral blossom cheek tint. The range overall is affordable and they have some quirky products that sort of remind me of Benefit.

MeMeMe Cosmetics

I thought I would introduce these hero products to you, so here goes!

Lash Attack Lengthening Mascara £7.50  – This mascara is to lengthen those lashes if you hadn’t guessed from the name and I really think that it does. I much prefer a thicker brush like this one to those little comb ones, I always feel they perform better and think this provided a great look, that stayed on too.

Light Me Up Lipgloss £6.99 – This lipgloss is worth buying alone for the handy mirror and light combo that comes with it! On the side you have a small mirror for applying and the light is within the lid when you pull it off, so no more trouble seeing it in dark light. The lipgloss suits its product name equally with the gloss being very shiny, but at the same time not sticky in the slightest. I tried it in colour Illuminate which is a very pale to light pink. I preferred it over the top of a lipstick for a real shine. It also had a minty smell to it!

Eye Inspire Quad Collection in Fire Eyes £6.50 – When I first saw these colours I was a bit afraid as they are much brighter than I would normally wear. However when I tested them out,as you can see from the swatch they come out not quite as full on as they look. You can wet them however to add a more dramatic effect with the colour. I think they would be great for creating a really funky eye look, I love the bronze-gold colour.

Coral Blossom Lip & Cheek Tint £5.50 – You can’t help but compare this to the Benefit Benetint, the idea is the same but I’d say the MeMeMe is slightly thicker in consistency. As you can see it goes on quite thick but once you blend it in, it provides a really light coral blush to your cheekbones, which has a lovely glow to it. Perfect for a very natural look and four times less the price of Benefit!

Correct & Perfect Concealer Kit £6.99 – This kit is so clever, it combines a concealer on top for hiding dark circles and then a powder underneath to set it, for a long-lasting concealer. I love this idea as you could easily carry it about in your bag. There is also a mirror in the lid for touching up those blemishes. I tried this in the Buff colour which was a great match for my skin.

Nail Collection Long Lasting Gloss £5.00 – The colour here is 97 Sensous, I go for more of a bright colour so I wasn’t so keen, but colour aside this polish was brilliant. The brush made it really easy to apply, it didn’t go goopy and one coat was enough for some serious shine. I went for two here and no top coat and as you can see it’s really shiny! I’d definitely be looking into other colours in the range.

Flawless Finish Tinted Moisturiser £7.49 – This tinted moisturiser reminds me of a BB cream as it provides a great colour but with a really flawless finish as it suggests. Normally tinted moisturisers don’t really provide any coverage just more of a colour, but I felt like this one did. The colour for me was great, it was in o2 Beige Blush. It includes SPF 15 and also Jojoba Oil & Glycerine to moisturise.

I’ve wanted to try the light up gloss as it seems really popular! I didn’t get on with a face powder I tried as it was SO dark but I think with face products it’s got to be matched perfectly as I love the lip and eye products, they are a great price xx
