Joan Collins is a Hollywood icon and so would I have expected anything less from her beauty line? First of all the gorgeous packaging in black and gold has that Hollywood feel and then the products themselves are wrapped up in gold case lids and ends. I was pretty damn excited when these arrived to test out. Within the Timeless Beauty collection there is fragrance, skincare and cosmetics. I tested out a few from the cosmetics line. These were the Lash Growth Treatment, the Fade to Perfect Concealer, Pencil Duo – Eyebrow and also the Lip Pencil.
Lip Pencil in Nude
So the lip pencil itself is a glamorous occasion. On one end you have the lip pencil in nude, which is a perfect colour for wearing nude lip colours. I always try to find that perfect shade and this is it. It blends so well and goes on really easy too. The other end of the lip pencil has an applicator brush which makes applying the lips complete precision. I hate carrying around a separate lip brush and so barely ever do, but with this I have no excuse now.
Concealer in Nude
This concealer is said to conceal under eye circles and fine lines and actively reduce discolouration and puffiness. I chose the colour Fair and it was a great match for my skin tone. I found it covered dark circles very well and smoothed out the eye area too, without looking thick or sticking to any dry areas I have on my eyes area.
Lash Growth Treatment
This one I was eager to try, the treatment which comes in a gold coloured mascara wand, acts a lash booster and contains a lash growth peptide. It promises longer lashes within 30 days, 169% longer and 13% thicker. I know I definitely need this. I have only used it a few times so far but looking forward to seeing the results. You apply this at night before you go to bed, it’s clear and doesn’t feel weird or like mascara at all, perfectly weightless.
Pencil Duo in Light Brown
This eyebrow pencil has two ends, one is charcoal and the other light brown. I have been using the light brown side and I use this over the top of my brow product just to give it the finishing touches to draw those extra hairs in as it wasn’t quite the perfect colour for me for full coverage. It does however go on really easily and doesn’t rub off either.
