It’s not often I try a beauty product and straight away I am blown away by it, especially when it comes to skincare. You might recognise the name Emma Hardie from her famous cleansing balm and recently I have been trying out a few products from her range which are perfect for summer. I have really enjoyed using all three products and have been shocked at how instant the results have shown on my skin, especially from the Midas Touch Serum, so I thought it was time to share my secret with you.
Emma Hardie Midas Touch Face Serum Duo –
As soon as I saw these they peaked my interest. The serum comes in two 15ml syringe style plastic casings which when using just a few drops at a time, makes it easy to keep application under control. You just need to pump it up and it will accurately give you droplets. I am a big fan of serums, especially hydrating ones for my dehydrated skin. This serum has ingredients that include hyaluronic acid, moringa seed oil and pepper fruit extract, which help to hydrate and soften the skin. Midas Touch also has anti-ageing properties and helps to encourage collagen production, as well as helping to combat signs of stress and environmental exposure.
The first time using this, I applied overnight and my skin was so plump and soft to touch in the morning, it really caught my attention and I have been using this serum everyday since. I’m not sure how, but it has also helped clear up my eczema around my mouth.
Emma Hardie Protect & Prime SPF 30 –
This is effectively a make-up primer, but with SPF benefits. It’s very lightweight and smooths out an uneven skin tone and blur pores without mattifying too much. So for someone like me with dehydrated skin it is mattifying but I don’t need to worry about it drying out my skin too, as it is very hydrating. It helps protect and guard the skin from sun damage and environmental exposure as well as numerous anti-ageing properties. Instead of applying under foundation, I actually mixed a few drops with my foundation for a little extra coverage and it gave my skin an overall perfect finish.
Emma Hardie Plump & Glow Hydrating Facial Mist –
This facial mist from Emma Hardie is very beneficial to the skin and although it can be used to set make-up, it’s definitely not your usual setting spray. Firstly the mist comes in a spray tube, which I have never seen before. Just shake it up and mist onto the face and it instantly has a cooling and hydrating effect on the skin. It is packed with beneficial ingredients and again has hyaluronic acid for hydration and plumping, but also has soothing aloe vera, velvet flower to help soften and wild watermint to tone, moisturise and protect.
As well as hydrating the skin it also helps to balance out shine and keep the face looking matte. You can use this before applying your serum or moisturiser and also over make-up. I will definitely be popping this in my case for my vacation.
