Now that London Fashion Week is over, it’s nice to just chill out, relax and put on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt and what better way than when your T-shirt is helping to support a great cause.
Beautiful Blue have found a way to fundraise with fashion by designing exclusive T-shirts for men, women and children with one-off designs for each charity they are campaigning for. I am wearing the gorgeous feather heart T-shirt which helps to support Harrison’s Fund, a great charity which supports Harrison a young boy who has been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
You might not of heard of DMD but it means you can’t produce dystrophin, a protein you need to build up your muscles. As a result, every muscle in the body deteriorates and currently there is no cure with most sufferers dying in their late teens. The Harrison Fund is therefore looking to raise money to help develop research to find a cure.
