Women Of Neon
This April, Women of Neon will take up residency on the 3rd floor of Fenwick of Bond Street. Women Of Neon is a one-off neon exhibition curated by Lights of Soho. All pieces displayed will be available to purchase and the artists’ neon creations will take over the Bond Street windows of the department store, illuminating the iconic London street. This innovative partnership sees the iconic London department store showcasing five female neon artists carefully selected by Lights of Soho’s Exhibitions Producer, Alexa Pearson to celebrate women behind neon. Which include Linda Bracey creative director of God’s Own Junkyard, Lauren Baker, Rebecca Mason, Dianna Chire and Federica Marangoni.
Adult Easter Egg Hunt at South Place Hotel
This Easter Sunday 16th April why not take part in an Easter Egg hunt just for adults and with a bit of Cockney rhyming slang thrown in too. At the South Place Hotel, they are putting on a fun Easter Egg hunt with Scooby Doo cryptic clues in Cockney rhyming slang. Over 200 chocolate eggs in various sizes will be tucked away, as well as special prizes, including a glass of Champagne, brunch for two or an overnight stay at the luxury hotel. Tickets are £10 for in-house guests and Sunday roast diners at the hotel’s Chop House, and complimentary for those booking South Place’s weekend Easter Package. Heinz Beans Pop-Up Bar At Selfridges
If you love Heinz beans then don’t miss their pop-up bar in Selfridges this April. Serving up £3 dishes that include; Beanz with Smoked Ham Hock, Beanz with Scrambled Egg and Beanz with crispy bacon. Additionally there will be 50 collectable cans personally signed by Maurice Drake, the advertising copywriter who came up with the slogan back in 1967 as well as 50 different iterations of the Beanz Meanz Heinz slogan using words that illustrate what Beanz means to UK, exclusively available to Selfridges food hall to purchase priced at £2 each from April 5th. The pop-up bar is open from March 23rd -23rd April, just simply turn up between 9am and 7pm Monday to Saturday or 11.30am to 6pm on Sundays.
Moomin Adevntures at Kew Gardens
Who remembers Moomin? The loveable cartoon characters are taking over Kew Gardens this April 1st- 17th as part of Kew Gardens Easter celebrations. Visitors can join in the interactive trail to help Hemulen find his missing plants, take part in Moomin craft workshops and fill up on Finnish pancakes. Held in the woodlands of Kew’s Conservation Area, track down rare flowers using the Kew Moomin App. It runs 10.30am to 4pm daily and the price is included within the entry price to Kew Gardens.
Cheer On London Marathon Goers
This years marathon takes place on April 23rd, where marathon goers will run around London in the 26.2 mile race. The route will start South of the River in Greenwich, before crossing the river at Tower Bridge, it will then continue through Central London until it hits the finish line by Buckingham Palace. There is always fun things happening nearby and will be plenty of celebrities and fun outfits taking part that you can go encourage on.
