Time Bomb Black Ops Dark Circle Rescue

December 4, 2014

Are you afraid of the dark? Time Bombs asks. Well I am a little. Although they aren’t meaning a dark room, no Time Bomb have just released a new dark circles serum and ladies we all know we are afraid of that dark.

Whether it’s tiredness, nutrition, age or genetics we all have probably have experienced the dreaded under eye circles at some point. Help is now at hand with this new dark circle serum from Time Bomb. It is called Black Ops – Dark Circle Rescue, which I think is such an appropriate name. I managed to get my hands on a PR sample which came in one of the cleverest PR campaign style boxes I have seen in a long time. It was of course in a match box, complete with matches and a slogan ‘Don’t be afraid of the dark’, already I was sold.

Let’s however look at the science of the blackops serum. The serum is packed with ingredients that offer a brightening effect, they also firm and strengthen the under-eye area. Horse Chestnut Extract and Quinoa Seed help diminish capillary swelling, Chia Oil help adds ‘cushioning’ to the thin eye area, 4- Hexylresorcinol brightens eyelids and counteracts hyperpigmentation. Whilst caffeine and micro reflective particles help to brighten the skin and neutralise corner shadows and darkness.

Time Bomb suggest using the serum day and night and by tapping it on lightly. For me I tried using this after cleansing in the morning and evening. The serum itself is very light and you do only need a small amount. It doesn’t have a fragrance and didn’t sting or make the eye area red in any way and I have very sensitive eyes. I still have a while yet to wait for results as I have only used it a few times, but the results are very promising that Time Bomb present from a 28 day trial.

– 84% saw improvement in skin texture under and around eyes
– 72% saw improvement in the darkness in the corner of their eyes
and overall brightening in the eye area
– 68% saw improvement in darkness under eyes, less tired appearance
and less discoloration

Time Bomb Black Ops Dark Circle Rescue

I have always had quite dark patches under my eyes (not sure why!) so I am looking forward to continuously using this serum and seeing the results. Time Bomb Black Ops Dark Circle Rescue is £36 from Time Bomb or at QVC in a special set with some of their best products for £45 from the 4th of December.
