Any products which promise hydration I am very keen to try out as they are perfect for my skin type. Thalgo have a range of six key hydrating products in the Source Marine range so I gave the Perfect Glow Primer a test. The primer promises an ‘airbrush effect’ which in a primer is exactly what I’m looking for. Primer has become such an important part of my beauty routine before adding foundation. Even though my foundation evens out my skin tone, a primer can do a great job in aiding this.

The Thalgo primer comes in a squeezy tube/bottle and is a light gel formula. The gel has correcting prisms of coloured light to conceal imperfections such as pores or any irregularities and in turn illuminate the skin. The primer has fitted in well with my regular routine, I can apply my moisturiser, the primer and then my foundation. This creates a really lovely and non greasy base but also keeps my face moisturised at the same time which for me is so important in this cold weather. The gel is light on the face and isn’t sticky or heavy like a cream at all.
