Something really exciting is happening tomorrow in London. From Thursday 19th December until Saturday the 21st December the BT Tower situated in Central London will be displaying YOUR Christmas messages across its giant screens to all of London via the medium of Twitter. Sounds pretty cool doesn’t it?
Just think you could wish someone a Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday or maybe even ask them to marry you, whatever you want to say go for it. The best tweets in terms of content, humour, charm and relevance will be selected and displayed each day over the three-day period. 12 tweets will be displayed every two hours, with each tweet having between 10-12 minutes of air time. Which means over 100 tweets will be displayed!
And the best part?
BT will tweet you back a Vine video of your message being played so don’t worry if you are not in London and this also means you won’t have to stand around the tower all day waiting for your message!
How to get your tweets on the BT Tower?
Tweet your message to @BT_UK, ideally 70-100 characters long with the hashtag #TweetsOnTheTower between 19th-21st December.
The selected messages will be displayed between 4pm and 10pm each day and all the lucky tweeters will receive a Vine video clip which you can share.
