Rihanna For River Island Has Landed

So if you haven’t heard that Rihanna has launched a collection for River Island, where have you been… really? (No Rihanna pun intended)

The superstar popstar unveiled her collection at London Fashion Week and from tomorrow it goes on sale in store and online. I decided to pull a few pieces from the collection and take a closer look at what is on offer.

Up first we have this vibrant yellow dress with double tied waist (£70). I love the colour and the t-shirt style.

Next I have picked out the black maxi dress, I spotted this at the fashion show and have loved it ever since, the thigh high cut is great and its the perfect sexy little black (maxi?) dress (£45)!

Varsity jackets are super IN fashion, Rihanna hasn’t disappointed us with this grey and white leather version. (£120)

If you are looking for a skirt Rihanna’s collection comprises of some zip up maxi-length versions (£40) or these double tied denim zip front ones with shirt detail (£50)

Tops are covered too…with a mixture of cropped polo necks which have knot back ties (£35), cami tops with knotted front to save you doing it yourself yeah? (£18) and these cropped tees which I love the sleeve width.

If all else fails treat yourself to leather cap with eagle emblem….drop down and get your eagle on gurl!

I do like some of the pieces but I’m not totally sold on it and/or the price points.
