Fight Fatigue With REN Atlantic Kelp & Magnesium Body Range

When I came back from Los Angeles in April I was extremely jet lagged. I found it hard to adjust to UK time and just generally felt exhausted. I needed a little pick me up and the new REN body range couldn’t have come at a better time.

REN Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium and is all about de-stressing and encouraging our bodies to function better. Magnesium and anti-oxidants help your cells detox, whilst revitalising and re-energising the skin. Magnesium is a mineral that is easily absorbed through the skin and helps it regain the energy it’s lost from stress. Whilst seaweed has many benefits, mainly used in West Ireland for bathing, but it helps to fight fatigue, stress and the effects of pollution.

Atlantic Kelp & Magnesium Salt Exfoliating Body Scrub £26 330ml / £18 150ml

This is a beautiful body scrub and the grains are not harsh on the skin, but just hard enough to give the skin a gentle scrub and get rid of dead skin cells. You can use this in the shower or REN also suggest using it in the bath as a soak. I’ve used it both ways and absolutely love it. It seems to go down very quickly, so I’d maybe suggest picking up the bigger size as you get double the amount of the smaller one for just a little extra.

Atlantic Kelp & Microalgae Anti-Fatigue Bath Oil £26

The bath oil for me is a stand-out product. I added just a few drops to my bath and I swear I had the best bath of my life. It’s very nourishing and has Atlantic Kelp and Plankton Extracts together with Microalgae Oil and Omega 6 and 9 to help leave the skin moisturised and supple. The smell really helps you to relax and it made my skin feel lovely and soft afterwards.

Atlantic Kelp & Magnesium Anti Fatigue Body Wash £20 / Body Cream £22

I really enjoyed using both of these. The body wash helps to tone with seaweed extracts and energises the skin with magnesium. Unlike the bath oil which I used at night to de-stress, I liked using this one in the morning to energise my skin and give me a bit of a boost. It has a gel like feel but lathers up and is lovely and moisturising on the skin. The body cream is light and rubs in easily and quickly without feeling sticky. It has a lovely smell and feels very relaxing on the skin.

Atlantic Kelp & Magnesium Energising Hand Wash £16 / Hand Lotion £18

A great way to continue your body routine with the hand wash and hand cream. The hand wash is gentle on the skin and even on my eczema prone skin (see which products I use for eczema here), which funnily enough is why I’m very funny about what hand wash I use. However I got on well with this one and just like the body wash, really enjoyed using it. The hand lotion is similar to the body lotion, very nourishing and hydrating.

I absolutely love this range, it has been such a pleasure to use. Everything from the bath oil to the hand wash.
