I am always interested in the Pantone Colour Of The Year and this year the colour of 2018 is Ultra Violet. It’s a nice transition from Greenery into Ultra Violet and I can see it working well with last years colour. So if you incorporated Greenery into your home this could easily work alongside.
Ultra Violet is a blue-based purple hue, slightly mystical and Pantone compare it to the night sky as well as references to music icons such as Prince, David Bowie and Jimi Hendrix. Ultra Violet also has a spiritual quality attached to mindfulness and meditation practices. I think it could be the perfect addition to a home this year.
I’ve picked out a few favourite interior pieces to introduce Ultra Violet into your home this year.

January 13, 2018 at 14:57I remember a few years ago we had purple and green place mats alternating at the table and whilst I love the colour combo I do feel like I left that behind in my student university days but I do love violet so maybe, with our green sofa, we will accidentally fall back into that colour scheme!
