As Spring is here it’s time to start wearing some brighter nail colours and this week I have been trying out some of the new collection from NuBar.
I have been trying three of the new colours City Self (Lilac), Spring In her Step (Pink) and Wildflower Blooming (Orange). Each of Nubar’s nail lacquers are free from Formaldehyde, Toluene and Phthalates, which are all the nasty things you don’t won’t near your nails!
The lacquer went on really smoothly and thinly, not gooey which is fab. I’m getting so annoyed with some nail polishes for being too gooey recently as they go on so thick and take ages to try, so I was happy with the texture. The colours look beautiful and here I have them together, they all compliment each other very well so after experimenting I actually decided to wear the pink and purple together and have had many compliments on them so far. I just love the pastel effect it really brightens up your day!
Do they last? Yes definitely. I applied mine with a top coat and base coat and they have lasted about a week without chipping which I’m pretty impressed with.
If you haven’t heard of Nubar before you can take a look at the range on Palms Extra site and each bottle is priced at £8.00 each.
