I was invited down by Next last week to their Fashion Lock In, which is as it sounds. I was allowed in the store after hours with lots of other fashion bloggers, Prosecco, oh and £100 to spend!
I have become more of an online shopper as I hate having to battle the crowds, so this was the perfect opportunity as the store was open to only us. Until they could close the store we were all invited to Apres Bar just off Duke Street for some cocktails and nibbles.
We all got handed VIP passes to the store and at around 9pm we headed round to the store near Bond Street, passing the Christmas lights on Oxford Street. A red carpet had been laid out and we were all eager to get inside.
Inside there was a DJ playing some tunes and Next gave us our own edit tags with our blogs name on, we had ten each and had to place them on the items we were loving! I had a great time choosing the pieces that stood that from the A/W range. I also got to meet up with the lovely Jazmine from Jazzabelle’s Diary who I met at the Cosmo Style Day.
We all had a £100 gift card to spend so I opted for two of my edits, a white casual military shirt which would be great with jeans, a tartan skirt and then some flat patent brogue shoes and tights. I spent a total of £92 so I’ve still got £8 left, no doubt I’ll probably end up with some more tights. I wore them the day after and they were great quality and also didn’t give you that wrinkly ankle effect.
Thanks to Next for a great night out!
