Next Beauty Blogger Event

Next invited me on Wednesday night to their Beauty Bloggers event which was being held in the luxury boutique Hempel Hotel.

The event was to showcase all the Christmas 2012 beauty range and Next had taken over a whole apartment filled with beauty products and Christmas decorations, with trees lit up. It looked stunning and smelt pretty nice too as you got a breeze of perfumes and candles as you walked in.

Throughout the evening we were served pink bubbly and food in small bowls, whilst you could enjoy a manicure -which I did, I opted for a lovely red/pink colour. I also had an Indian head massage which was so relaxing. A great night of pampering and checking out the latest beauty products.

Next has a selection of their own ranges plus also sell various designer perfumes and brands such as St Tropez. The Gift Boutique is an exclusive Christmas selection which has top notes Cassis and Grapefruit, floral rose and orchid, enveloped with sandwood and vanilla. The candle in this range smelt lovely and looked really pretty too.

Everything looked beautifully packaged for Christmas gifts. The table below had the range of new Next fragrances entitled ‘City Collection’ which are named after cities of the world and have been developed in the UK to White Company standards. There is New York, Milan, London and of course Paris. The packaging was so lovely with black and white bows.

They are described by Next as:

Paris – ‘Floral bouquet of jasmine and orchid with warm amber tones.’

London – ‘Citrus bursts, evolving to a powdery musky base. An eclectic aroma evoking a sense of individuality and creativity’

Milan – ‘Fruity with a floral heart and a lingering woody base, with top notes of melon and green apple.’

New York – “A radiant, white floral fragrance with elegant jasmine and sun-kissed orange blossom. Inspiring and cosmopolitan, this blend captivates and engages the senses.”

The perfumes are £8 which for 50ml is a great buy. The fragrances also come in diffuser, body creme and candles so you can have the complete set of your favourite one and with such good prices it’s not an expensive option.

My evening ended with of course a goodie bag! Inside was perfume in New York, SPA Bath Soak which has a glittery sheen and looks amazing, a Milan diffuser and an eyeshadow set in Glamour.
