Love Denim

I was recently asked by Debenhams to come into the Oxford Street store and style up my favourite denim style as part of their ‘Love Denim’ campaign. From skinny to bootcuts, there are so many different types but for me I love my skinny jeans. Mainly as they seem to be a good fit for my shape and I love how you easily wear them day or night!

I am probably the hardest person to get a pair of jeans to fit, I am always between sizes! So when I went to the store last Thursday in my head I wasn’t really sure if I would find any but the surprising thing was I DID! After piling numerous pairs into my basket and trying them in on in the very luxe personal shopping changing rooms, which are so lovely -I loved the space it is exactly what you need when shopping. I found a pair that fitted perfectly, the brand and size what seems as if made for my shape, I was delighted.

So what did I choose? Red Herring ‘Holly’ super skinny in dark wash, at £30 they are a bit of a bargain and I also tried on other colours and styles which seemed to be a good fit from Red Herring so I’ll definitely be looking at them for my next denim purchase. The waist comes up slightly higher than I usually go for, but I really liked that and the length was great too.

I paired the Red Herring denimss with an H by Henry Holland daisy jumper £40, which I just simply love and black leather court shoes from Faith £60. The overall look is simple and really highlights the denim I feel.
