GlamGlow Review

July 30, 2013

I have been considering buying a pot of Glam Glow for a while now, but being quite expensive I really wanted to test it out first. So was delighted when I got my hands on some samples of the Glam Glow Youth Mud and the Super-Mud.

GlamGlow Mud

If you haven’t heard about them before here is the downlow and differences between them.

GlamGlow – Described as ‘A 10-minute anti-aging facial in a jar’, it was originally created for Hollywood A-Listers to get their immediate camera ready glow. It is an exfoliating mud mask that contains volcanic minerals, French sea clay and TEAOXI. The ingredients are said to activate moisturising collagen synthesis, provide gentle resurfacing exfoliation, tighten the skin, shrink the appearance of pores and leave the skin glowing!

Super-Mud – Is a great treatment for clearing your skin if you suffer from breakouts and spots and also great for men for razor bumps and ingrown hairs. It restores damaged skin and improves skin texture by helping to de-clog to minimise pores, moisturise, stimulate collagen and fight breakouts. It can be used as a mask or as a one-spot treatment.

I decided to give the GlamGlow a try first and see if I could give myself the Hollywood glow, ‘Sample Sexy’ it already tells me. I applied a thin layer from the sachet and what I noticed was you don’t need much at all, with the pot being quite expensive they will definitely last so was really happy about this. It goes on really easily and starts to darken as you leave it on. You can see the Teaoxi patches straight away, don’t worry if you look a bit alien like! I left mine on for 10 minutes and could feel the tingle after about two – don’t worry this is normal! It felt sort of uncontrollable at one point but then passed and my face was pretty rock hard.

After the ten minutes were up I removed the mask by using circular motion with my hands and running water, it comes off really easily unlike other masks I have used and you can feel it exfoliating as you do it.

I was really happy with the results, my skin felt tighter, softer and glowing! Above in the After shot I am just wearing minimal make-up so lipgloss, eyebrow pencil and mascara, NO foundation and as you can see the skin looks glowy.

Unlike other masks I have used which I feel made no difference, instantly I saw results, I will definitely be investing in a pot. You can get a 15ml jar from Marks & Spencer for £25.00 or go for the 50ml for £39.99 from Feel Unique.

I’m going to try the Super-Mud when I get any break-outs so stay tuned for the results. More recently they have launched an eye-mask, so will be interesting to try that too.

Go get your glow on!
