There are several factors that can contribute to dehydrated skin such as weather, central heating, hard water, ageing etc. Our skin is the largest organ in our bodies, so it is very important to keep your skin hydrated. The first thing to consider, and the most obvious, is moisture content. Do you drink adequate amounts of water a day? This means drinking 4-6 glasses a day. Another facet of moisture content is your skin health which determines the skin’s ability to retain and hold moisture.
