I headed to the Emslie Creative press day yesterday evening and I now have a style crush on lots of new brands!
The press day was held at the fab Hush restaurant in Mayfair, so as you can expect there was plenty free drink from Bulldog gin and nibbles.
Now let’s talk clothes and AW13, it seems so hard to think ahead for next winter when well, we are still in winter! Is it ever going to warm up? I’m counting on this weekend. However one of my essential items for winter is always a fur coat (faux of course!) and I was loving this range of coats and jackets from Unreal Fur. They are an Australian brand and bring high quality designer faux fur to the table, made to feel and look like the real thing. I am totally loving this jacket!
Another range that caught my eye was the superb Nines Vintage. A dedicated website selling and sourcing designer vintage items from labels such as Chanel, Versace, Christian Lacroix and Moschino. They also take requests, have you been hunting for the perfect vintage item? They can help you! How old school is this vintage Versace chequered jacket? I love it!
AW13 is not just about clothes it’s about accessories too. Jewellery, snapbacks and groovy socks to be precise.
I featured Kat & Bee back in August last year and the new collection does not disappoint. Inspired this time by New York, the rings have the same handmade quality and skulls, but with extra sick spikes and beads.
Another jewellery range by Yasmin Everley is super awesome! The beautiful collection of scarab and beetle necklaces and statement rings are fantastic.
Zephyr hats are just COOL, here I am wearing New York Rangers one. The new range features special designs from Thrift Shop. Now whilst your rocking one of them be sure to check D.Lo, a fab unisex bright coloured and trendy new sock brand from the UK. With patterns such as floral, geometric and fish scales you can’t go wrong to brighten up your feet.
For the men and well ladies as I would totally wear this. Check out this T-shirt from Two Angle, I love the design with the tattoos and skull plus a little bit of Disney.
Thanks to the Emslie Creative team for also letting me take one of these Kat&Bee rings away with me, watch my little video of it below.
