Clinique’s 2 in 1 Skin Hydrator & Beard Conditioner £28 is fragrance and oil free, meaning you don’t have to worry about the smell or how shiny your beard will be. I actually prefer using this product rather than a beard oil as I feel it moisturises and softens my beard and also the skin underneath, whereas some oils can just mask your beard hair and I have actually found my beard felt coarser from using an oil. Key ingredients include hyaluronic acid and panthenol derived from Vitamin B5 to help soften and retain the moisture in your skin. Whereas the salicylic acid helps to exfoliate.
What you will notice when applying this product it is slightly creamy and not sticky on application like many others can be. The second thing you will notice when applying the cream is how quickly absorbed it is into your neck and face, so thankfully you are not waiting for it hours for it to absorb. The conditioner part helps when you next shave as your skin is softer and reduces shaving friction, which is a god send.
This product goes a long way so you will not need to over use. Take a large pea sized amount and rub into both your skin and beard areas. The moisturiser works on a day’s stubble to a full on lumberjack beard, so apply accordingly.
