BB Bakery in Covent Garden has become my favourite new lunch spot. Yesterday I headed there with my dad who was in London visiting. The bakery gets you away from the craziness of Covent Garden and feels like you have stepped into a Parisian cafe.
Inside the decor is so lovely with illustrations on the walls, perfect teacups and amazing cake designs in the windows, made from macaroons, marshmallows, sweet treats and decorated with feathers, glitter and look absolutely amazing.
Plus you can’t help but not look at all the cakes behind the counter! With so many cakes and cupcakes on offer, who could resist?
I decided to have a cheese and ham baguette, which came with vegetable crisps and a soft drink. I then followed up with one of the delicious cupcakes, I went for the Vanilla flavour. What is so lovely is you feel so relaxed here, never rushed and the waitress brought over my cake when I was finished with my sandwich.
I loved all the little details such as the intricate tea china, cuckoo clock downstairs and intricate designed objects placed about.
There is extra seating downstairs and they also do afternoon tea which looks great, I will definitely try that next time.
I had a lovely lunch at BB Bakery, c’est merveilleux! You can book or look at the menu here.
