Korean products are some of the best you can find when it comes to skincare.
They are known for their forward thinking ingredients, think snail mucus and bee saliva – stick with me, coupled with affordable prices and this is why you should definitely give them a try. I find Korean skincare to actually work, there are no false promises, it really does what it says. The majority I have tried is very hydrating and so perfect for my skin type, but of course there are products suitable for all skin types.
Here are six Korean skincare products I would recommend trying out.
1. TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL EGG-SSENTIAL FLUID
This is a hydrating facial toner that will make your face feel baby soft. It’s formulated with egg protein water and moisturizing egg butter, it is a great way to hydrate and refine pores after cleansing.
This is a unique serum oil that you apply as the last stage of your skincare. It’s oil based but feels more like a light serum. It improves dull skin tone and gives skin a glow, whilst keeping it hydrated and strengthening damaged skin. It’s hypoallergenic and great for sensitive skins.
A body scrub from popular Korean beauty brand Missha. This scrub is a do-it yourself mixture, it comes with a pouch of rose oil and a tub of salts. Mix the two together with the plastic spoon provided and rub it on your body in the shower. Rinse off and no need to moisturise afterwards, leaving you with nourished and glowing skin,
Possibly the best hydrating sheet mask I have ever tried. This cute penguin mask has trehalose which is a sugar found in plants and is often used for its nourishing properties. You won’t be able to stop touching your face after using it, it’ll just feel so soft.
A moisturiser with Hyaluronic Acid and Glutathione, it helps to retain moisture to prevent skin evaporation and dehydration, hydrating the four layers of the skin where it needs hydration the most. A perfect day or evening cream for those needing a moisture boost.
