This summer has seen lots of new beauty launches, so I thought I’d do a round-up up of ten of the most recent launches I have been pretty excited about.
So let’s get straight to it!
1. Versace Eros Pour Femme EDT
Versace have brought out the Eau de Toilette version of their popular Eros Pour Femme parfum. The bottle is beautiful with the Versace logo on the front and cap as well as metallic detailing. The fragrance itself is mesmerizing, I absolutely love it. It has a freshness from the fine citrus fruits like Sicilian lemon and mandarin and also crisp fruity notes like raspberry and white currant.
Given the fruity notes it doesn’t smell sweet, more sensual as it also has a floral composition of floral petals freesia, magnolia and orange blossom. Whilst the base note is a woody and musk scent. The EDT is available now in 30ml (£42), 50ml (£60) and 100ml (£80) nationwide.
2. Urban Decay VICE Lipstick
Urban Decay have relaunched their entire lipstick collection with 100 new lipsticks. Ruby Rose is the face of the collection and each lipstick has been repackaged and comes in six finishes; Mega Matte, Comfort Matte, Cream, Metallized, Sheer and Sheer Shimmer. My favourite is the comfort matte in Backtalk. The range has every colour imaginable from the typical red to bright metallic pinks. There is also 50 lip pencils to match the collection so you shouldn’t be stuck for choice. Lipsticks are priced at £15 each and available nationwide and at Selfridges.
3. PRAI Beauty x The Dorchester Spa
PRAI Beauty have teamed up with iconic Mayfair hotel The Dorchester on a bespoke limited edition collection available at The Dorchester Spa. The collection is a four-piece including the Ageless Throat & Décolletage Cremè £50, Platinum Firm & Lift Eye Serum £45, Firm & Lift Face Serum £85 and the Platinum Firm & Lift Créme £65. Each embossed in a crystal limited edition packaging.
The Firm & Lift Créme will leave your face feeling divine, moisturised, supple and smooth. Whilst the Firm & Lift Serum uses multi-power peptides to visibly lift and firm the eye area. If you can’t get to the spa, you can also pick up the collection online at shop.dorchestercollection.com.
4. Ciaté Pretty Stix
Ciaté London are probably more well-known for their nail polishes, but their make-up range has been growing from strength to strength and the brand new Pretty Stix £16 are no exception. I already have been using the shade Vintage Blush everyday, it is the perfect pink nude and feels super moisturising on the lips, plus looks pretty lovely in my make-up bag with the lips design.
There are 10 shades and have a blend of Murumuru butter and Amino acid, lips are left hydrated with a great pigment of colour. Another new addition is the Makeup Melter £16. This fragrance free balm to oil formula is designed to ‘melt away’ your eye and lip make-up. Again it has nourishing Murumuru butter which includes essential fatty acids and Vitamin A. It will strip away make-up without taking away essential facial oils.
5. Lee Stafford Wet Look GeLeE
Lee Stafford hair products are a favourite of mine and this month sees the launch of Wet Look GeLEE £7.99. I haven’t seen a brand bring out a product specifically for this look and this is the perfect hair product to achieve the wet look hair look, just like Kendall Jenner and a whole host of other celebrities. I can’t wait to put this one to the test. No more struggling with gooey products and coconut oils. This pink styling pomade sets fast, smooths and keeps hair in place with a glossy finish.
6. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Overnight
If you suffer from sensitive skin that can feel uncomfortable when you wake-up in the morning, I’m talking redness and itching then La Roche Posay’s latest addition to the Toleriane range could be for you. Toleriane Ultra Overnight £17.50 combines a powerful antioxidant duo with soothing active ingredients to minimise discomfort giving sensitive skin what it needs to help repair itself overnight. Ingredients such as Carnosine and Vitamin E detoxify and Neurosensine helps break the cycle of inflammation. Tested on the most intolerant and allergy prone skin, 76% saw a reduction in tightness, 69% reduction in itching and 57% in stinging.
7. Omorovicza Limited Edition Queen Of Hungary Mist
Omorovicza has released a travel size edition of their popular Queen of Hungary Mist £25 with a beautiful decorative motif design to celebrate its ten-year anniversary this summer. Inspired by the mists floral ingredients they have also teamed up with Dawson Flowers to create a stunning bouquet, named after the Hungarian word for peacock, Páva. Each bouquet purchased comes with a complimentary bottle of the Queen of Hungary mist, available from Dawson Flowers.
8. Algenist Elevate Contouring Eye Cream
Just launched this month, Algenist’s new Elevate Firming & Lifting Contouring Eye Cream £56 is a little pot of heaven. When this touched my under eye area it instantly felt lifted, whether it was the soothing feeling from the cream or the magical properties, who knows, it felt amazing. This eye cream is super nourishing and has Alguronic Acid & ProPetides to deeply hydrate and visibly tighten the eye area, improve appearance of wrinkles and improve skin’s tone and elasticity.
9. Melvita Nectar De Roses
Melvita have added a few new launches to their Nectar de Roses range for the face. Including a Hydrating Day Cream £25 and a Moisture Replenishing Night Cream £26 which is ideal for thirsty and tired skin, it combines rose floral water and rose extract to help skin withhold its moisture. Alongside both of these is a Micellar Water £15, so lovely and refreshing and Eye Contour Gel £20 to help diminish the appearance of dark circles and puffiness around the eye area. Also look out for a new release coming in August on the Nectar de Roses body range, a Hydrating Milky Body Mist £15, which contains wild rose extract to help boost skin hydration – its superb!
10. Simple Hydrating Cleansing Oil
Simple actually have three new launches which I just had to include as like buses they came all at the one time. First up they have the Hydrating Cleansing Oil £6.99. I love a cleansing oil and I am so happy Simple have launched this. It is made with 100% natural grapeseed oil. It has a really light texture and removes make-up very effectively. It doesn’t leave your face feeling greasy afterwards either. Once applied add a little water and rinse off. It is also enriched with vitamins A and E and has no artificial colours or fragrance.
Next up we have the new Dual-Effect Eye Make-Up Remover £4.49, a two-part formula made up of oil and vitamin-enriched water. Shake and wipe on with a cotton-pad, in one swipe make-up is gone, even tough waterproof mascara, no rubbing required. I really loved this remover and it felt so gentle on my sensitive eyes. Lastly their famous Cleansing Facial Wipes £3.29 have had a makeover and have a new aqua-lock to keep them sealed tight, as well as a fabric redesign on the wipe itself for a more effective cleanse. Available at Boots and Superdrug.
