Herbalife SKIN Review

February 26, 2015

You may have heard of Herbalife before from their world leading nutritional products. Now Herbalife have brought out a skincare range called SKIN. The range is designed to create more youthful and healthier skin and contains a powerhouse blend of Vitamin B, antioxidant Vitamins C & E and Aloe Vera with results being visible in just seven days. SKIN has no added parabens and is free from sulphates, so the focus is on the vitamins and botanicals to enrich the skin.

Herbalife SKIN review

I’ve recently been trying out the whole range and I must say I am impressed with it and I find the products really complement each other. I have been cleansing with the Soothing Aloe Cleanser £19.25. This has a really lovely feel to it and removes make-up and dirt from the face really easily. Sometimes I find with a cleanser I’d need to give it two applications but with this one was enough. It’s a great way to cleanse the face in morning and gives my skin that boost it needs. The Daily Glow Moisturiser £32.65 has been a complete treat to try out. It is infused with antioxidant vitamins, sunflower seed oil, nut oils and flower extracts and is said to leave the skin moisturised for 8 hours. I found it a really lovely texture for a day moisturiser, it wasn’t too thick but gave me the protection I needed throughout the day. It also has illuminating properties so left my skin with a glow.

Herbalife SKIN Herbal Toner Review

One of my favourite products has been the Energising Herbal Toner £14.60. First up it comes in a spray bottle which is just so handy. You can either spray it directly on your face or spray it onto a cotton pad before use. It has a lovely mandarin scent, is alcohol free and left my face feeling really fresh after cleansing and ready for the next step. Each product is numbered so you can easily follow the number guide until you get in a bit of a routine

If you are worried about lines and wrinkles, they have you covered for products on that side of things. There is the Line Minimizing Serum £43.45, Firming Eye Gel £30.30 and also the Replenishing Night Cream £32.65. The serum is designed to improve skins softness, radiance and luminosity as well reduce the signs of ageing. It is packed with chestnut seed extracts and peptides to aid this. For me I loved the feel of this yet again on my skin. The night cream was another stand out for me, Herbalife claim that skin looks smoother and softer in just seven days. I put this to the test and used it for seven days straight. My face does indeed look much better skin wise and feels soft too, that I’m pretty scared to stop using it!

Herbalife SKIN Clay mask & berry Scrub Review

The firming eye gel is as it suggests to tighten the skin around the eye area, at the moment I’m having trouble with the skin around my eyes being very dry so I haven’t been using this as much yet. However I have tried out the Hydrating Eye Cream £30.30, this is infused with vitamin B3, C&E, Aloe Vera, Macadamia nut oil and cucumber extract. I was intrigued by the fact it has cucumber extract as you always see the token beauty shot with cucumber on your eyes, so surely this could only be a good thing? Again the cream feels nice to apply and helped to keep my eyes hydrated.

Herbalife SKIN Clay Mask & Berry Scrub Review

The treatment products in the range include an Instant Berry Scrub £15.05 and a Purifying Mint Clay mask £16.35. The scrub has coconut derived cleansing ingredients, exfoliating beads and blueberry seeds to help reveal a vibrant and bright complexion. It’s a light gel formula and you can see the beads straight away. After using this my skin looked brighter and felt lovely and soft. The clay mask has a mint smell which is derived from the spearmint oil and combined with rosemary leaf it removes dirt and absorbs excess oil. I absolutely love a clay mask and this didn’t disappoint either. The only thing for me is my skin is quite dry so I wouldn’t use this one as much as you may if you have oiler skin.

I love the sound of the clay mask and the mint smell, I have oily skin and it’s such a bug bear so I am all over that, definitely like the sound of the toner too! xx

I have had great feedback on these products from my clients, and I love them too. I run facial experience evenings in the Chester area where you can “try before you buy”. These events are great fun and you get to apply the full range of products on your own skin. For further details contact me on su.baird@btopenworld.com
