I love it when you receive a beauty product to review and you are so happy with it you literally want to tell everyone, this is exactly how I feel about Seventeen from Boots new range of lipsticks. They are aptly named ‘Stay Pout’ and that is exactly what they do.
I tried out ‘Date Night’ and ‘Rule Breaker’, both of these are great colours for Autumn. I don’t know about you but as the weather gets colder my lips get darker. Summer I am more of a pink and orange lip and for Autumn/Winter I turn to my reds and wines. ‘Date Night’ is a bright red that will pretty much go with everything and I love the name, it’s a sexy siren red for sure and ‘Rule Breaker’ is a dark red/wine in colour.
I tried wearing both of these lipsticks near the end of last week and over the weekend and was very impressed. I wore the red out for dinner and even after eating and drinking it was still on. I liked the feel of them too, they feel smooth and creamy on application, which didn’t leave my lips feeling dry. One of my favourite lipsticks is MAC mainly as they stay on but find they really dry out my lips, so this is my new alternative and was super impressed by the staying power, plus at only £4.49 there is plenty reason to stock up on all 15 colours if you wanted.
