Pancake Day Ideas

Pancake Day is on March the 4th which is next Tuesday and so I have been on Pinterest, the source of all inspiration, looking up some ideas for some creative pancakes. I’m not the best at making them, they end up looking pretty much not like they do on Pinterest but I do love to have a good go. I much prefer the little pancakes to the bigger ones,they just seem to taste better. Which style are you the little fatties or big and skinny?

Here are some of my favourite ideas I’ve come across for creative pancakes and I am hoping to try to recreate some of these, looking at these pictures is just making my mouth water, try not to drool I never knew you could do so much with pancakes.

These all look so amazing, I think I will definitely have to try the Oreo ones, or I might try to come up with some sort of Nutella version. Whilst on Pinterest I came across the fact people have actual Pancake Parties, I couldn’t think of anything better and the perfect excuse to just eat lots of pancakes, plus have a little tossing competition!

If you aren’t feeling quite as creative then one of the best things you can do if you have people round, is to fry up some plain pancakes and then just have a whole host of toppings for your guests to choose from and make their own, something like these optical illusion trays would be great to fill up with strawberries and blueberries as it keeps them all nice in place on the table. The best thing about Pinterest is you find so much random stuff, I just had to share this smiley faces frying pan and one more, anyone for a Frying Pan-Da?
