Nip & Fab Skin Shots

February 14, 2017

One of the best drugstore skincare brands I have tried is without a doubt Nip & Fab. I have featured them many times on the blog with some of my favourites being the Nip & Fab glycolic fix range and also the Nip & Fab dragon’s blood hydration boost shot. Which brings me nicely onto these, joining the hydration shot is four new skincare shots. Shot? I hear you say, yep these are quick boost to the skin and each one has been introduced from one of their ranges to exfoliate, repair, soften and smooth.

Each shot is a serum consistency that a few drops can be added to your regular moisturiser or worn alone on the face as more of a targeted concentrate. So let me introduce you to the new shots in the collection.

Nip & Fab Glycolic Fix Radiance Shot

This is a fast fix of luminousity and helps to bring your skins radiance back. Apply a few drops to your moisturiser or alone to your skin and the glycolic and fruit acids will help exfoliate, amino acid helps provide a more even skin tone and the panthenol moisturises. Being such a fan of the glycolic fix range, this addition hasn’t disappointed me and I think it is my favourite from the new shots.

Nip & Fab Bee Sting Fix Repairing Shot

This shot is to give dry and weakened skin that intense nourishment. It’s packed with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, which is amazing for adding moisture to the skin, royal jelly which looks to condition skin and the bee venom helps to plump and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

One thing to note about this one is that it says not to use it if your allergic to bee stings, so it’s not just the name it actually has bee venom in it, which sounds pretty scary at first but I would definitely recommend a little patch test before using. I really enjoyed using this one and felt my skin really lapped it up.

Nip & Fab Viper Venom Fix Blurring Shot

The Viper Venom range aims to blur skin, by evening out your pores and smoothing away any fine lines for that Instagram-esque look. Again just add a few drops to your moisturiser, I found this one worked well under make-up for a smooth skin appearance. It is lightweight and sinks in straight away so doesn’t feel sticky and make-up goes on lovely after it.

Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot

Nip & Fab Kale Fix Range is another favourite of mine and I use the kale fix cleansing pads pretty regularly, especially when travelling as they are so easy to take with me and also such a quick way to take my make-up off and keep my skin feeling moisturised. The shot has kale extract to inject your skin with a cocktail of vitamins; B5, C and E and pronalen bio protect to help protect the skin’s surface from pollutants.

I like how each of the shots address a skin concern and are an easy way to add into your regular skincare routine without changing it too much.
