Christian Louboutin the man behind the red sole shoes, near enough glass slippers by all accounts. Has actually designed a glass slipper! To celebrate the re-release of Cinderella from Disney, the designer unveiled in Paris yesterday on the final day of the Haute Couture shows these real life glass slippers.
Louboutin wanted to capture the character in the shoe. By the way she depicts a fairytale and said “the slipper is the magic wand of transformation, which conjures confidence, beauty and love.”
These slippers most definitely do. They are covered in crystals and lace, with butterflies being the main feature, a true fantasy fairytale shoe.
