Yesterday I had a very special evening. I was invited by Quality Street down to Westfield London, where they had popped up a real life Quality Street sensory experience. Everyone’s favourite sweets at Christmas are Quality Street, the old ‘what’s your favourite?’ comes to mind, so it was a perfect way to get into the festive feeling. Quality Street had set up a massive screen with Quality Street graphics, colourful images and wrappers galore, chocolate wrappers not actual rappers of course, no Drake or Jay-Z here. Instead we were treated to Christmas carols from the amazing carol singers who belted out festive classics.
As well as plenty of free chocolates and carol singing that all the shoppers were loving, there was an exciting reason I was here, I got to press the big purple Quality Street button! Queue dum, dum, dum music.
After a few selfies in the Quality Street red carpet, which also projected you onto the ‘Christmas Cam’, it was time for me to press the button.
5,4,3,2,1…..here I go! The button started off the music, graphics and the snow machine went off too! It was a magical Christmas moment and so fun to be part of.
I also went home with a giant Quality Street filled with my favourite purple chocolates. After all that hard work of button pressing I headed off to Westfield London for a little Christmas shopping.
