I get to try my fair few grooming products, in fact my selection may be growing bigger than Paula’s at this rate. So I thought I would share with you my current favourites I’ve been using the most throughout the summer.
Clinique For Men 2 in 1 Skin Hydrator & Beard Conditioner £28 – Buy Now
Clinique 2 in 1 skin hydrator and beard conditioner is one of my favourite products. I have been testing it out over the summer and it has quickly become my go to beard product. The lotion is a lightweight cream that helps to soften and moisturise your beard from one-day stubble to the more elaborate cave men beards. It softens and strengthens the skin underneath your beard which many men neglect. Something I like about the conditioner is its oil free so it feels and works slightly differently to beard oils. Clinique For Men Anti-Fatigue Eye Gel £25 – Buy Now
Something men are guilty of and myself especially is forgetting or not treating your under eye area. Clinique Anti-Fatigue Eye Gel is a roll on, imagine the roll on deodorant from straight out the 90’s in a smaller version. It is a quick to absorb gel that helps to hydrate and brighten your eye area and can help to reduce puffiness and dark circles after a restless sleep or a night out. I have found it’s great in the morning and now part of my morning grooming routine.
The Great British Grooming Co Hydrating Moisturiser w/Volcanic Ash £6.99 – Buy Now
Many moisturisers can take an age to dry into the skin which can be frustrating when you might be a in rush before work or going out for dinner. The thing that stood out with this one, apart from including volcanic ash is how quickly this moisturiser dries in and refreshes your skin. The moisturiser was a new release in June and as well as volcanic ash to detoxify it includes Argan Oil to repair and strengthen. It smells great and being from The Great British Grooming Co it is reasonably priced.
Kiehl’s Texturizing Clay £19.50 – Buy Now
You might have read my ultimate guide to men’s styling products already and so you will know there are many things that can make a hair styling product stand out, especially in a clay product. The latest Kiehl’s Texturizing Clay is one of their standout hair products from the new grooming solutions range. It’s a lightweight clay that gives your hair body with a medium hold and a matte finish. It is a very masculine smelling clay, the whole range smells the same with sandalwood, cedarwood, and eucalyptus and is great on all hair types and washes out easily. It’s well worth the price tag.
Fish Dryfish Texturising Dry Shampoo £4.99 – Buy Now
Ever had one of those days when you don’t have the time or energy to wash your hair but need something to give your hair a refresh or inject life back into it? Well Fish have created Dryfish Dry Shampoo. If you have never used dry shampoo before, you spray it at the root of your hair and it magically cleans your hair while adding texture and giving you a matte finish. Still struggling with the concept? Think of a light hairspray that gives you a light matte wax finish. As I have had my hair cut shorter this summer it’s been great if I have forgotten to rinse my hair out or just want the messy bed head look without a thick product in it.
