Bubbledogs Dog Tea Party
Fancy taking your dog to a dog tea party in aid of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home? On Tuesday 8th August Bubbledogs will be hosting a canine friendly tea party. There will be a homemade dog treats menu devised by founder Sandia Chang, so that the dogs are happy on the day. As well as hound-themed hot dogs for the owners, which are available throughout August with £1 from each hot dog purchased going towards the charity.
The doggy-themed hotdogs include; The German Shepherd, with a grilled sauerkraut, honey mustard beer sauce and a pretzel crumb, The Mutt, pairing peanut butter with cheddar cheese and salty bacon bits, The Bichon Frise with brie, cornichon relish and Dijon mustard and lastly The Greyhound, with homemade piccalilli, cheddar cheese sauce and apple slaw. Spotlight Festival @ Seven Dials
Seven Dials free one-day music and performance festival returns on Saturday 19th August. From 12-6pm the area will be transformed into a traffic free shopping area, with performances from the West-End’s Disney’s Aladdin and The Lion King as well as Some Voices choir, pop singer Whinnie Williams, Old Dirty Brasstards and The House & Garage Orchestra. All hosted by TV and radio presenter Laura Jackson.
The festival will have glitter stations to decorate your face, have yourself drawn as a fashion illustration, as well as a pop-up lawn complete with deck chairs to enjoy a free cocktail from Monmouth Kitchen. Take In A Mini Concert At The London Edition
Throughout August at The London Edition hotel, London’s leading alternative choir London Contemporary Voices will pay tribute to music icons through a series of mini concerts. The choir will cover pop classics from Madonna to Whitney Houston, Bowie to George Michael. Taking place on Wednesday evenings at 7pm, on the 9th – DIVAS, 16th – POP, 23rd- Guilty Pleasures and 30th August – Heroes, each performance will be delivered from the spectacular balcony overlooking the hotel’s Lobby Bar and are open to the public, no ticket necessary.

Tequila Festival Comes To London
Ahead of a national tour around the UK, the Tequila Festival comes to London at the gardens of Studio 338 on August 19th. From 1pm until 11pm, event-goers will embark on a tequila tasting journey with over 30 tequilas to try out. On arrival, as well as being handed a complimentary shot, they will receive a Tequila Bibleto guide them through their tequila experience. There will be traditional Mexican dancers and a Mariachi band providing live music, as well as a DJ spinning house music with a Latin twist. With a tequila cocktail bar and plenty of Mexican food, it will be a fun day out for all tequila lovers.
