Spring Has Sprung With Ted Baker Fragrant Bloom

Ted Baker Fragrant Bloom Review

Florals for Spring might not be groundbreaking to Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada, but for me I love them. Like the way the flower grows and opens up, Spring is all about rebirth and new beginnings. From Spring cleaning to going through my wardrobe and swapping over my clothes or I’ll admit buying new ones. So I want the florals, I want the colour and the brightness and the beautiful floral smells that come with it.

One of Ted Baker’s key designs for womenswear SS18 is the Chatsworth Bloom fashion print. Inspired by the gardens of Chatsworth House, it combines vintage inspiration with illustrated florals on a soft pink and white colour palette with accents of chartreuse to give this traditional print a contemporary twist. The print further inspires the NEW Ted Baker Fragrant Bloom bath and body collection, with the scent highlighting the blossoming Chatsworth Gardens.

Fragrant Bloom is a blend of florals and neroli, with top notes of citrus and bergamot and a botanical finish of patchouli. I love the smell of this fragrance so much, it’s really uplifting with the citrus notes, but the floral notes make it not too sweet and just really lovely to wear throughout the day. I loved the Ted Baker Porcelain Rose scent at Christmas time, but this one I like even more. It’s perfect for Spring and I can’t wait to jump in the shower to use the body washes.

In the collection you have a Body Spray 150ml £7.50, I love the design of the body spray with its clear packaging and you can see the print through it, as well as the luxurious looking ‘T’ on the lid. It’s an elegant fragrance of opulent florals from the gardens of Chatsworth. The Body Wash is £8 for 200ml and Shimmer Body Wash £12 for 300ml, both in the beautiful pink prints with rose gold these are uplifting to use in the shower and the shimmer body wash has a touch of sparkle, it comes out a shimmering gold colour, I love using it.

What I like about the Body Lotion £8 for 200ml is that it dries in so quickly, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky after application. My skin is left moisturised and smelling so good. I am quite lazy when it comes to body lotion, mainly as I hate the sticky feeling you can get and hate waiting around to put my clothes back on, but with this its quick and easy.

Aside from the indulgent fragrance, the collection has a beautiful design with the illustrated prints and rose gold accents, making it easy to add a touch of sophistication, femininity and style to your bathroom. Ted Baker always has such beautiful packaging and this one is just gorgeous and perfect for Spring. It also would be a lovely gift. They have two gift sets in this collection. The Birthday Box £18 is wrapped up in printed paper with a tag and rose gold bow stickers to seal shut, I mean it couldn’t be any easier. Inside is a full size body spray, body wash and a pink super soft face cloth.

The other is the Pampered and Polished Cosmetics Bag £14, this one is great for those on the go or who travel as it has the everyday essentials in miniature sizes including body wash, body lotion 50ml, as well as a mini body spray all in a cute cosmetics bag.
